After a successful stint in fashion whichraised Baptisteâs profile and made him realise the connection he could make with people, the young artist from Marseille will be releasing his début album "Oxygen" in September!
Baptiste has chosen to share his dream of making music with an ever-growing group of fans who have followed his progress since the beginning.
Now, we are delighted to let you share this adventure by giving you the opportunity to become a co-producer of Baptisteâs first album and build the dream together!THE ALBUM
Determined to make his first steps in music, Baptiste Giabiconihas brought together a selection of important music industry professionals to make it happen.
With the help of famous names such as producerPete âBoxstaâ Martin (Robbie Williams, Missy Elliott, Sugababes...) and mastering engineer Tom Coyne (Beyoncé, Adele, Pink...), in September heâll be revealing to the public the results of almost a yearâs work in the studio in London!
A few months ago, the web was treated to the video for Baptisteâsfirst single "One Night in Paradise", which already has nearly 2.6 millions views! Without any promotion!
And hereâs an exclusive chance to listen to three tracks from the future album!
The album is due for physical release in France, Belgium and Switzerland in September, and digital release in the rest of the world. The label My Major Company will be handling its development, marketing and promotion.
We have two main objectives:
- Increase Baptisteâs media presence (radio, TV, press, web) in France and the French-speaking territories in order to prepare the albumâs commercial release in September.
- Capitalise on the French success in order to commercialise the album in as many foreign territories as possible, via local licences.
MARKETINGPLAN
In order to succeed with the first step in France, we will need two things: marketing power allowing us to strike hard and fast, and an active community capable of supporting the project and starting positive word of mouth. My Major Company is the perfect place for achieving these two objectives!
Below is a hypothetical marketing plan showing the main vectors for our investment objectives:
TV MARKETING - 55% of the budget - target: 15-34 year-olds/ digital and terrestrial TV channels / high-audience prime-time shows + youth programmes
RADIO MARKETING - 10% - national music radio stations
PRESSMARKETING - 5% - youth magazines, celebrity press
WEB MARKETING - 5% - sites for women, music, lifestyle
COMMERCIAL MARKETING - 10% - specialist stores and hypermarkets
POSTER CAMPAIGN - 5% - Parismetro system
PROMOTION - 5% - live promo work with musicians, other expenses
PRIVATE SHOWCASE IN PARIS - 5% - private event for media outlets and those contributing to the MMC funding (see the rewards column on the right).
This marketing plan has been devised based on the sum of 200,000 euros net. This is the amount shown on Baptisteâs gauge and the minimum to be reached in order for the project to be green-lighted by My Major Company. We believe that this amount will give us the necessary means and community base to reach our objectives. Of course, we aim to go beyond the 200,000 euro mark and create the biggest possible community base!
The larger the community, the higher the gauge amount will be and the more we will be able to invest in marketing in promoting the project, allowing Baptiste to become a successful media phenomenon. This is precisely the idea behind the new version of My Major Company, with no limit to the size of the gauge and the community! And all the money invested by contributors on the site will be dedicated to the project! The marketing plan will be expanded along the lines of the percentages presented here, but the amounts will be increased, the ads will be more visible, there will be more promotion, etc.
The only limit is time: in 3 months, the gauge will be closed and the album will be released using the means that you have decided to give it. Whatever happens, it will be great, without a doubt!
